Works on loan
The Granell Foundation has a large selection of works by the surrealista artist Eugenio Granell. It also has works by other surrealists and a collection of ethnic and popular art.
Philip West, an English surrealist artist left a large amount of his works at the Granell Foundation at the time of his untimely death in 1997.
These works are offered on loan to interested entities.
Caixa Sabadell, A Coruña’s Museo de Belas Artes, Spain’s Foreign Ministry, Instituto Cervantes, the Barrié de la Maza Foundation, Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid, Residencia de Estudiantes, Museo-Casa Picasso in Málaga, are some of the entities that have either borrowed pieces or collections from the Granell Foundation.
