Iván Prieto has created one of his interior spaces; a warm and domestic space where the figures privacy is violated by the publics eye. The artist shows the world of the circus where three esperpento type female figures, are caught in a thougthful and concentrated mood in which silence and introspection are essential. If, at other times Iván has shown us active scenes which mirrored our sexual prejudices, these still, melancholic figures generate feelings of complacement and compasión.
